Here are some pictures that we took and do come support us by coming down to *SCAPE tomorrow 11th Feb from 12pm to 8pm and also 12th Feb at booth 8A! Trailer / 11:04

Hi! The 30 seconds trailer was produced by me - Shaawani and my teammate, Ivan.

What I did was, I drew out each of the scenes, in layers using Adobe Photoshop, just like doing the storyboard. Then, I save each scenes as an image file and sent it to Ivan. On Premiere Pro, we sequence them according to the music I mixed using GarageBand. We add in some effects to the visuals so that it look more animated rather than just a still image.

The video can be found in the previous blog post by Ivan. =]

Making of the Heroes part 2 Wednesday / 22:57
Hi!

Today, I’m going to show you the rest of the parts that I did i

n the making of our interactive game. So, after I did the background images, I then import them to Adobe Flash Professional and did the first half of the episode.

Unfortunately, my laptop crash while I was doing for episode 1 thus Fatin did the whole animation for episode 1. I was lucky that I did print screen some shots so that I can blog about it. For episode 2, I did the part up to when the bat came in to the computer lab and Faith cried for help.

Below are the images of my working files, for both episode 1 and episode 2:

That’s all from me.

Look out for the next blog post from us!

Making of the HEROES Tuesday / 22:47

Hi there!

Just a little peek at how we created 'HEROES' for those who are curious! I'll have to tell you that the game may look simple, but the process was nowhere near easy. From animating the characters to synchronizing every movement with the audio, it was not easy at all.

Episode 1

Episode 2

Yessssss, that's right. The entire game was created using Adobe Flash. The details such as the background images and characters were designed in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, of course. (Courtesy of Katy and Shaa!)

Although it was only basic gameplay and animating, I had a really hard time (just because I had zero knowledge on Flash before this). But with help from watching tutorials (and more tutorials), I learnt quite a few things from this!

To conclude this post, do show us some love in this project! We would really appreciate all of your support! :D :D :D

The Making Of The HEROES Trailer! Wednesday / 23:33
Hi guys!

First of all, Happy new year to everyone! I hope everyone enjoy this year as well, not to mention Chinese New Year is just around the corner! :)

Last week, we did a trailer so we can showcase this project for the upcoming scape event. One of our graphic designer Shaawani helped to prepare the visuals such as the opening of the trailer and she even created the music for us so we can save the trouble of asking our music and sound effect friend to make some for us! After she prepared the visuals, i used Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 which is a video editing software to help compile them and animate them into a video format. I have made some screenshots of my progress and the tools i used as well...

We planned the sequence and the flow of the trailer but we were stuck at the part where we wanted to show a profile like the video below so it looks attractive to the target audience...

Later we found out that it is hard to do so but we use other alternatives and finally come up with the trailer! Instead of doing a lot of effects of showcasing our heroes' super powers, we show the audience what are their key strengths that can make it easier for the kids to understand the different heroes with their individual powers. We hope you enjoy the trailer and do share it with friends that you wish to let them know of this project we are currently doing! :)
